Dr. Kouch was born and raised in Los Angeles. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at UCLA, then went on to receive her veterinary degree at Michigan State University. After graduating, she completed a small animal rotating internship at Encina Veterinary Medical Center in Walnut Creek. Her training helped equip her to work as an emergency veterinarian for 6 years before transitioning into urgent care and general practice.

She has three dogs, a cat and one red-eared slider. In her spare time,she enjoys hiking, camping, and going out to support our bay area sports teams along with her partner, who is native to the bay area.
